and need help. They generally provide a free pregnancy test,
medical referrals,
abortion and adoption information, information on
community
resources, and governmental and private source help. Most
importantly,
a trained counselor will lend a sympathetic ear and try to help
you make
the best choices for yourself and your unborn child.

Can I Expect from a Crisis Pregnancy Center?
A: Confidentiality,
caring, solid advice and help in finding resources that might
not
be readily apparent in trying to remove the "crisis" from your
pregnancy.
Q: Can
I Get a Free Pregnancy Test?
A: Yes.
Crisis pregnancy centers provide free pregnancy tests. If you think you
are
pregnant, get tested now. It is best for you and your baby.
Q: I'm
Poor. Can they Help Me Find Resources So I Can Keep My Baby?
A: Absolutely.
From clothing to governmnental assistance, a trained crisis
pregnancy counselor can help you locate the resources to provide you with
the services you need.

Don't Want Anyone to Know I Went to a Crisis Pregnancy Center.
Are they Confidential?
A: Yes,
they are confidential. A trained counselor generally will explain the
confidentiality of your visit at your appointment, and typically only
a first
name is taken. Consult with your local center.
